Several representatives from the Department of Educational Technology, Research and Assessment staffed Booth 33 at NIU’s STEM Fest 2022, held Oct. 15.
“Our VR and AR educational games were a great hit!” Chair Wei-Chen Hung said. “Kids and parents stood in long lines for exploring the terraformation of the earth and the anatomy of the human body/DNA. They also experienced virtual immersion of life-size 3-D meta-shaping.”
ETRA students Asma Albahli, Mohammed Alharbi, Fortunata Msilu and Sharif Shahadat provided support at the event, as did ETRA Graduate Student Association adviser Olha Ketsman and ETRA program advisor Judy Puskar.
Meanwhile, ETRA students Chynar Amanova, Aniqa Tahsin and Sharda Sharma supported the program evaluation of STEM Fest, led by Kristin Brynteson and Todd Reeves.
