Razak Dwomoh, assistant professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, received the inaugural Early Career Award from the Purdue University College of Education during its 2025 Education Appreciation and Alumni Awards.
“Over the years, the Purdue COE has celebrated several Distinguished Education Alumni Awards, but this was the first time the Alumni Board conclusively incorporated a new award (Early Career Award) to celebrate an alumni within the first 10 years of career accomplishments after graduation,” Dwomoh says. “It was an honor to be selected for this first-time award in that category.”
Indiana State Rep. Sheila J. Klinker sent a surprise citation and a handwritten note of congratulations on behalf of the Indiana General Assembly.
