
Congratulations to these members of the NIU College of Education family!
Pi-Sui Hsu (PI) and Tom Smith (co-PI) of the Department of Educational Technology, Research and Assessment have been awarded a new National Science Foundation grant titled “Co-constructing Strategies to Enhance Support and Effectiveness in Teaching Scientific Argumentation with Technology.”
This one-year research and development project, funded through the NSF Discovery Research PreK-12 program, begins Aug. 1 with a total award amount of $100,000.
The project is managed by the Division of Research on Learning and includes co-PIs Mariana Ricklefs, associate professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, and Reva Freedman, associate professor in the NIU Department of Computer Science.
