NIU faculty and staff, both full time and part time, are invited to present their leading research programs, projects, initiatives and startup companies at Huskie Trek Talks, NIU’s new innovative showcase with the engaging, storytelling spirit of TED Talks.
The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, Feb. 23.
Submissions need to be accompanied by either a two-minute video OR a one- to two-page summary that outlines the proposed topic.
Each Trek Talk, delivered in dynamic format assisted through presentation coaching, graphic design and audio/visual support, will offer a window into what makes the Huskie spirit so innovative and special.
Tentatively scheduled for Friday, May 3, the event will bring together the campus, donors and friends to celebrate the creative spirit of faculty and staff while fostering deepened connections throughout these groups.
