(Melissa Andrews is a recent graduate of the Community College Leadership Ed.D. program. This article, which she worked on with Dr. Xiaodan Hu, is based on her dissertation.)

(Dr. Xiaodan Hu is an Assistant Professor in our program. Sergia A. Blanco, who graduated from the Counseling’s Master program in May, served as Dr. Hu’s graduate assistant.)
