Jodi Lampi

Jodi Lampi, associate professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction and director of Academic Literacy and Learning, was inducted as a Fellow of the Council of Learning Assistance and Developmental Education Associations (CLADEA).

The CLADEA fellowship is the highest honor awarded in the field of postsecondary learning assistance.

CLADEA cited Lampi’s exemplary contributions that include her coordination of the Certificate of Graduate Studies in Developmental Literacy and Language Instruction, her recognition as an ACUE Distinguished Teaching Scholar and Faculty Teaching Mentor and her mentoring of students through Educate Global.

Lampi has made significant contributions through her service to CLADEA organizations, most notably through the College Reading and Learning Association, where she is completing her second term on the Board of Directors as publications director.

She also contributes to multiple editorial boards and has published in leading journals such as Harvard Educational Review; Journal of College Student Retention; Reading and Writing; and the Journal of College Reading and Learning.

With more than 100,000 educators working nationally in learning assistance, literacy, developmental education and student academic support, only 68 individuals have received this recognition since its inception. Selection as a CLADEA Fellow is reserved for the most influential scholars, practitioners and leaders in the field.
