Congratulations to these members of the NIU College of Education family!

Injung Lee, a faculty member in the Counseling program, received a 2024 Professional Research Grant from Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. Lee’s project aims to understand international doctoral students’ experiences with research mentorship to help counselor educators provide culturally responsive mentorship.

Peitao Zhu, was awarded a research grant from the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. Zhu’s study is called “The Development and Initial Validation of the Supervisory Wisdom Scale.”

Priyanka Jha, a Ph.D. student in Counselor Education and Supervision, received the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision 2024 Student Research Grant. Jha’s funded proposal aims to quantitatively examine the impact of culturally responsive research mentorship on research identity development among international counseling students.
