COLLEGE
- Laura Hedin was announced as the new Morgridge Endowed Chair.
- Chris Lowe and Alex Owens were announced as the new director and assistant director, respectively, of the Office for Student Success. Allie Shirar was welcomed as the office manager.
- Phil Corvino was welcomed as director for Learning Partnerships.
- Tim Dohrer was welcomed as director for Educator Leadership and Partnerships.
- Debi Gillette was welcomed as senior director of Advancement.
- Lauren Lett was welcomed as Alumni and Advancement coordinator.

CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION
- Hyoju Ahn was welcomed as assistant professor of Curriculum and Instruction.
- Razak Dwomoh was welcomed as assistant professor of Curriculum and Instruction.
- David Nieto was congratulated on his promotion to associate professor of Curriculum and Instruction.
- Bobbie Palm was welcomed as academic advisor for the Middle Level Teaching and Learning program.
- Neil Daly was welcomed as office manager.

- Cansu Tatar was welcomed as assistant professor of Educational Technology.
- Pi-Sui Hsu was congratulated on her promotion to professor of Educational Technology.

- Tiffany Puckett was congratulated on her promotion to associate professor of Education Law.

- Hope “Bess” Wilson was welcomed as chair of the Department of Special and Early Education.
- Christie Easley was welcomed as visiting assistant professor of Early Childhood Education.
- Michelle Sands was welcomed as assistant professor of Special Education.
- Lydia Gerzel-Short was congratulated for her promotion to associate professor of Special Education.
- Brandon Perez was congratulated for his promotion to assistant professor of Special Education.
- Bill Penrod was congratulated on his retirement from the department, where he was an associate professor in the Vision Program.
Recipients of the 2023 annual college awards also were named.

- Molly Pasley, assistant professor in the Department of Special and Early Education’s Vision Program, received the Excellence in Teaching Award by Faculty/Clinical Faculty.
- Pi-Sui Hsu, professor of Educational Technology, received the Excellence in Research and Artistry Award by Faculty.
- Natalie Andzik, associate professor of Special Education, received the Excellence in Service Award by Faculty or Staff.
- Dave Benner, instructor in Kinesiology, received the Exceptional Contributions by Instructor Award.
- Lisa Gorchels, instructor in Special Education, received the Exceptional Contributions by Staff Award.
