The state motto of Michigan – my home state – is simply, “If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you.”
Thinking about the work of KNPE over the past few months, our innovative projects and our support of students, a phrase “If you seek an engaging department, look about you” best captures the theme of this issue of Access Anderson.
Specifically, we are excited to share (and celebrate) stories with you related to:
- Emma Baumert and her pursuit of the US Olympic Bobsled and Skeleton Teams.
- SHAPE America Midwest Elementary Teacher of the Year Kelly Zerby and her career of advocacy.
- Triple Huskie Tim Mack’s journey through NIU and KNPE.
