Young alums assist in recruitment work through newest installment of postcards

The College of Education’s Student Services office has continued its recruitment efforts through the postcard marketing program, this time featuring alumni in photos and personal messages mailed directly to prospective Huskies.

Graduates Olivia Mayszak (Special Education), Nick Minogue (Kinesiology), Dezirae Ninow (Elementary Education), Veronica Riva (Early Childhood Education) and Yara Santillan (Physical Education) encourage admitted students to “Follow My NIU Footsteps.”

Previous rounds of the postcard projects featured notes from current students and from faculty.

Kristin Rinehart, coordinator of recruitment in Student Services, says the postcards help to “convince students that the NIU College of Education is definitely the place to be.”

“Our postcard project is a great way to create excitement about the College of Education among newly admitted students who are considering us as a possible college choice,” Rinehart says.

Photography and design were provided by NIU Creative Services.
