College of Education joins in drives for food, winter clothing

huskie-food-pantryThe College of Education is accepting donations of food for the Huskie Food Pantry.

The pantry strives to provide non-perishable food and other necessities for NIU students. The pantry’s highest needs are listed online: Canned protein, fruit, beans and dry pasta are always the most expensive for the pantry to purchase, so that is a current focus.

Because the items tend to be non-perishable, we will start the drive now and deliver items the week of Jan. 9.

The College of Education also is collecting items for the Coat Drive that is being sponsored by the Office of Student and Academic Success. You can drop off gloves, hats, coats and/or scarves to Graham Hall 321 or take them to the drop-off locations listed on this poster.

We will accept items in Graham Hall 321 through Monday, Jan. 16.

Thank you in advance for your participation.
