Daniel L. Goodwin, M.S.Ed. ’73, and chairman and CEO of Inland Real Estate Group, was included Sept. 5 in the Crain’s Chicago Business annual list of Who’s Who in Chicago Business.
Jennifer Erickson, ’03, was nominated by her NEA state affiliate for the 2016 NEA Foundation Awards for Teaching Excellence. She received the 2016 California Casualty Award for Teaching Excellence, presented Feb. 12 in Washington, D.C.
Kevin J. Nohelty, M.S.Ed. ’95, has been named chief school business official for Dolton West School District 148. Nohelty is responsible for oversight of district finances and operations as well as human resources and personnel.

Derek Niepomnik, ’95, was appointed as the new physical education teacher at Buzz Aldrin Elementary in Schaumburg District 54 after a career change and from coaching soccer full-time for the past 20 years.
Kathy (Erickson) Brooks, ’83, retired after a 30-year career as a special education itinerant teacher for orthopedically impaired and traumatically brain-injured students in Mesa, Ariz.
