Grant program to fund research and teaching innovations

The College of Education is pleased to announce that applications for the newly created COE Dean’s Grant Program are now available online. Four grants of up to $2,500 each will be awarded for fiscal year 2016, two each in the areas of instructional innovation and research.

Grants arrowThe purpose of the Dean’s Grant for Instructional Innovation is to assist COE faculty and/or staff in improving teaching, curriculum, and student academic success. The Deans and representatives from the College Curriculum Committee will review proposals.

The Dean’s Grant for Research will assist COE faculty and/or staff in completing a pilot or small-scale study to prepare for submission of an externally funded grant. The Deans and representatives from the College Research Committee will review proposals.

Grant proposal forms (instructional innovation, research) are due to the Dean’s Office (GH321) by Jan. 15, 2016. Recipients will be announced by Jan. 31, 2016.
